18.55a · Where the target SMETS1 GSME does not support the Remaining Battery Capacity to be capable of reading over the WAN Interface (with their SMETS meanings), the S1SP shall omit the RemainingBatteryCapacity element in the SMETS1 Response (with its Message Mapping Catalogue meaning).
